Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 180C/360F.
Step 2
Lay the frozen sausage rolls in the air fryer basket, allowing a bit of space between each one. Optionally baste with some beaten egg or milk. This will help turn the pastry golden.
Step 3
Air fry large sausage rolls for 18 to 20 minutes and mini sausage rolls for 10 to 12 minutes. Check on the sausage rolls at the halfway mark to ensure they are not burning.
Step 4
At the end of the cooking time, the sausage rolls should be golden brown on the outside and piping hot on the inside. If the pastry is still pale, turn the air fryer temperature up to 200C/190F for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 5
Leave to rest for a few minutes before eating.
