Air Fryer Homemade Toaster Strudel

Step 1

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Pour the eggs into the skillet and scramble for 1 minute. Next, add the chopped sausage links and continue to scramble the eggs. Once the eggs are cooked, sprinkle in the cheese and cook until melted.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured wooden cutting board. Use a pizza cutter to cut 6 equal rectangular sections. Repeat with second puff pastry sheet.

Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting, for five minutes.

Add 1/4 cup of the scrambled eggs and sausage to the center of each puff pastry round. Leave a fingertip width worth of space between the filling and the edges. ** add water to a ramekin and dip your finger and trace along the edge of the dough sheet to help the pastry to stay sealed** Lay a second sheet of puff pastry over the eggs. Gently press down along the edges with your fingertip, then repeat with a fork to seal the edges.

Brush puff pastry with melted butter and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning.

Add toaster strudels to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6-7 minutes, or until the dough is golden and crispy.
