Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking pan and set aside.
Step 2
Cut each bacon strip into 3 so you have thinner stripes. Set aside.
Step 3
Separate the onion slices into rings keeping 2 layers per ring. Discard the smaller ones.
Step 4
Tightly roll a bacon strip around the onion ring. Keep rolling more bacon until you have the whole ring covered. Repeat the process with the rest of the onion and bacon.
Step 5
In a bowl combine BBQ sauce, hot sauce and brown sugar and smoother the bacon wrapped onion rings with it. Transfer to the prepared baking pan and take to the oven.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
