Breakfast Pizza on Crescent Rolls

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2

Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them. Place them on top of the round pizza pan that's been sprayed with non-stick baking spray. Press the seams together to form one circle of crescent roll dough.

Step 3

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated 350°F oven or until it's golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside while you prepare the toppings.

Step 4

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Saute the green peppers until tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 6

Place the eggs in a bowl and whisk together.

Step 7

Melt the other 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet and pour in the eggs. Cook until almost done. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 8

Spoon the eggs over the baked crescent roll crust.

Step 9

Combine the cheeses and sprinkle on top of the eggs.

Step 10

Finally add the sauted green peppers on top followed by the crumbled cooked bacon.

Step 11

Return the breakfast pizza back to the oven for another 5 to 7 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.

Step 12

Slice and serve immediately.
