Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker or Instant pot on medium heat. Add bacon and saute for about 6 minutes or until crisp. If more than 2 tablespoons of fat at bottom of pot drain off carefully.

Add onion and garlic to saute for 2 minutes or until softened.

Add carrot and celery and saute for 5 minutes or until softened.
Step 4
Add red pepper, garlic and red pepper flakes and saute for 1 minute more.

Add chicken broth and canned tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
Step 6
Carefully pour in drained whole beans, Italian seasoning and ditalini.
Step 7
Set Pressure Cooker or Instant Pot to soup setting. Mine cooks for roughly 10 minutes.
Step 8
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Step 9
Sprinkled with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
