Cherry Pie Cocktail

Step 1

Moisten the edge of a rocks glass with cherry juice or maple syrup. Next, dip the rim of the glass into the graham cracker crumbs. Set the glass aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the RumChata with the maple syrup. Stir vigorously with a cocktail spoon or whisk until the mixture is emulsified. Editor's Tip: Don't skip this crucial step. Cream-based liqueurs (like Irish cream and RumChata) tend to curdle when combined with acidic ingredients such as cherry juice. Add the tart cherry juice and cherry liqueur to the sweetened RumChata, then stir again to combine. Shaking the cocktail will incorporate air, resulting in a smoother, frothier consistency.

Step 4
