Pre-heat Skillet on Med-high heat
Step 2
Season sliced chicken with salt & pepper. Add 2 Tbsp coconut oil. Add chicken to skillet and sear on both sides.

Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer on low until the chicken is no longer pink.

Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Deglaze the pan by pouring 2 Tbsp chicken broth into the hot skillet then scraping the bits off the bottom with a wooden spoon. Leave the bits in the pan as they are extra flavorful.

Steam broccoli in boiling water on the stove for 5-6 minutes or until tender

While the broccoli is cooking, add 1 Tbsp oil to the skillet along with the minced garlic. Sauté 2 minutes or until fragrant.
Step 8
Add nutritional yeast and Italian seasoning to the minced garlic, then stir continuously with a whisk on medium heat until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Step 9
Keep whisking so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
Step 10
Drain steamed broccoli.
Step 11
Add the chicken and broccoli to the sauce and stir until thoroughly combined.
Step 12
Sprinkle basil on top.
Step 13
Pop the skillet in the oven on the top rack under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
