Export 10 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Prepare the pork ribs by removing the membrane and then cut into individual ribs
Step 2
Mix all the marinade ingredients together and add the pork ribs and coat well and evenly
Step 3
Let the pork ribs marinade for at least 2 hours in the fridge, then bring out for 1 hour to come back to room temperature before cooking.
Step 4
Add all the sauce ingredients together in a saucepan or wok and bring to a gentle simmer until thick and saucey, a bit like dark treacle
Step 5
Bring a large pan with oil to 160c-170c and carefully deep fry and colour the pork ribs until golden dark brown.
Step 6
Place the pork ribs onto a tray lined with absorbant paper to remove any excess oil
Step 7
Add the pork ribs to the sauce and coat until all even all over the ribs. It's best to do this whilst the coffee sauce is still warm.
Step 8
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, sliced spring onion and chilli. Enjoy!
