Step 1
Bring a large pot of pasta to a boil, salt it and cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large, deep pan or Dutch oven and fry the bacon over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly crispy. Remove from the pot with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add the butter to the pan, wait for it to melt, then add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden.

Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens a bit, then transfer the cooked pasta to the pan. Toss well, then stir in the bacon and grated parmesan.
Step 6
Season to taste and serve immediately, with some extra Parmesan on top if you like.
