Step 1
Heat a non-stick or cast iron pan to medium heat. At the same time, bring a pot of water to boil for the pasta and make pasta according to package. Add butter and cooked chicken to pan and heat through.
Step 2
Once butter is melted and chicken is warm, cut chicken into pieces and add half of the spinach to the pan.
Step 3
Stir spinach occasionally until it's wilted (1-2 minutes).
Step 4
Add remaining spinach and stir until wilted (another 1-2 minutes).
Step 5
Once spinach is wilted, add heavy cream, salt, and pesto and bring sauce to a simmer.
Step 6
Once pasta is done, combine the pasta in the sauce and toss well.
Step 7
Plate pasta and garnish with Parmesan Cheese and if you want to add a little spice, red pepper flakes.
