Take clothespins apart and discard metal piece.

Step 2

Then, turn each piece so the inside of the clothespin is now facing out.

Step 3

Glue the backs of each clothespin together and allow to dry completely.

After they dry, glue each clothespin pair together at the point, alternating each one so they form a square shape.

Step 5

Your DIY clothespin trivets are complete and ready to be given to mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa!
