Dominican Republic Dulce De Leche squares

Step 1

Spray a small square casserole dish glass or ceramic would work best about 4" square

Step 2

Heat the sweetened condensed milk over medium high heat.

Step 3

Stir continuously for about 20 minutes.

Step 4

When the consistency is like peanut butter pour it into the mold

Step 5

Let it cool to room temperature

Step 6

Use a knife to remove from mold around the edges and cut into squares

Step 7

Spread toppings or eat plain.

Step 8

Makes about 12 delicious pieces of candy
