firstly, in a large kadai heat 3 tsp oil and splutter tempering.

additionally, add ½ cup tamarind extract and stir well.

continue to boil for 5 minutes or until the raw flavour of tamarind is gone.
Step 11
finally, add 2 tbsp coriander and enjoy drumstick sambar with hot steamed rice.
