Step 1
In large bowl using an electric hand mixer or a whisk, blend together both packets of pudding mix and cold milk until a thick pudding consistency forms.
Step 2
Place 1/2 of the pudding mixture onto the bottom of the pre-made pie crust and spread evenly.
Step 3
Place 4 oz of thawed cool whip or whipped topping into the bowl with the remaining pudding mixture and stir until well combined. Spoon over pudding mixture in the pie crust evenly.
Step 4
Dollop rest of the 4 oz of thawed cool whip or whipped topping on top of the pudding layers.
Step 5
Top with mini chocolate chips and refrigerate for 1 hour to set up. Slice and enjoy.
