Ingredients: ¼ cup Cointreau; ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 2 limes); ½ cup Reposado Tequila (we love Exotico); ¼ cup agave nectar; 2 cups ice (more if needed)

lime juice (from about 2 limes)

Reposado Tequila (we love Exotico)

¼ cup agave nectar

ice (more if needed)

Place first four ingredients in a high powered blender and add 2 cups ice. Blend until smooth. Add more ice if necessary. Enjoy!

Great recipe! Have you ever done them over ice instead of blending? Want to make a big batch for a tall (tube like) dispenser.

Super smooth margarita!  I tweaked the recipe based on what I had available in my house, which is a bit more budget LOL ;)    Here is what I did: 
¼ cup Triple Sec
¼ cup lime juice from a bottle
½ cup Espolon (silver) Tequila
2 oz. Simple Syrup 
2 oz. Orange Juice (no pulp) 
2 cups + 1/8ish cup of crushed ice

My variety tastes good and smooth but not as prominent of a tequila flavor as a Reposado would do , like you recommended-  Only if I had one!! :)

Lovely classic frozen lime margarita! I absolutely loved it! Mine didn’t quite slush up the way I wanted it too though and I used more ice… any thoughts?
