Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and set aside.
Step 2
In a medium sized bowl mix together the butter, sugars, egg yolk and vanilla.
Step 3
Add in the flour, cocoa & baking powder and stir until combined. Then stir in 2 tablespoons of the chocolate chips.
Step 4
Form the dough into a large ball, place on the prepared baking tray and stud the top of the cookie with the remaining chocolate chips.
Step 5
Bake for 12-14 minutes until the top of the cookie looks almost set. Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before devouring.
