Preheat your oven to 350°F
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, stir together goat cheese and cream cheese until combined. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish.
Step 3
Spoon the fig jam over the goat cheese, spreading it evenly.
Step 4
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the top of the fig jam.
Step 5
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the fig jam is bubbling and hot.
Step 6
While the spread bakes, toast the chopped pecans (or walnuts if you prefer) in a dry pan until aromatic.
Step 7
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh, chopped herbs and toasted pecans.
Step 8
Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with an assortment of crostini, crackers, crudites, etc.
