Mix together the pork mince, pineapple, fennel seeds, onion, garlic and parsley in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper and use your hands to mix well. Roll into balls about the same size as a golf ball.

Heat your casserole dish on a medium to high heat and add in oil. Fry the meatballs in batches for a few minutes until browned on all sides. Set aside.
Step 4
Add beans, passata, salt and pepper to your casserole dish and stir through. Top with the piquillo peppers and place the meatballs gently on top. Sprinkle over parmesan and bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until the parmesan begins to turn golden.
Step 5
Serve immediately with a side of white rice and crusty bread.
