Step 1
Partially slice hot dogs on a diagonal and again on opposite diagonal to make a criss cross effect. Do not slice all the way through - just enough so when you bend the dog - you can see the marks.

Turn Blackstone onto medium high and when griddle is at 375º - add a light squirt of canola oil to the griddle surface (avoid olive oil - it has a low smoke point)
Step 3
Place hot dogs on the hot surface - sprinkle with seasoning salt or a little salt & pepper
Step 4
Cook for 2-3 min
Step 5
Using tongs, roll hot dogs in seasoning
Step 6

Step 7
Toast buns on Blackstone to warm for 1 minute (you can butter the hot dog buns lightly before putting them on the griddle if you like)
