Step 1
Place ribs into the insert pot of an Instant Pot.
Step 2
Pour in barbecue sauce and water, stirring to combine well.
Step 3
Secure lid on Instant Pot and set vent to "sealed."
Step 4
Using the manual setting, select an 8 minute cook time.
Step 5
Once cook time is complete, turn unit off and allow a natural pressure release.
Step 6
After pressure has release and valve has dropped, carefully remove lid.
Step 7
If you desire the sauce to be a bit thicker, remove ribs to a plate and select the saute function. Whisk cornstarch and water together in a small bowl to create a slurry. Add mixture to the sauce in the insert pot, stirring well to combine. Allow sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until thickened to your liking. Return ribs to pot, stirring to coat with sauce.
Step 8
Serve over rice, pasta, or potatoes.
