Export 1 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Place the corn on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 2 to 6 minutes depending on how many cobs you're cooking. (1 ear: 2 minutes, 2 ears: 4 minutes, 3 ears: 5 minutes, 4 ears: 6 minutes)
Step 2
Allow the corn to cool (untouched) for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Cut 1-inch off the end of the corn that has the stub. The corn could still be quite hot, so use a hand towel when touching it. Cutting off the stem ends will remove the husk and silk from the base of the ear, which makes removing the husk much easier.
Step 4
Slip off the husk and silk.
