Ingredients: 3 cups fresh spinach; 2 cups coconut water (unsweetened); 1/2 cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds); 1 cup strawberries (frozen); 1 cup cherries (frozen); 2 bananas; 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder; 2 teaspoons maca powder; 1 serving Protein Smoothie Boost (optional)

Boost your iron intake with this plant-based iron-rich green smoothie bowl.

Iron-Rich Smoothie Bowl

spinach

coconut water (unsweetened)

raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

strawberries (frozen)

cherries (frozen)

bananas

raw cacao powder

maca powder

serving Protein Smoothie Boost (optional)

Place spinach, coconut water, and pepitas into blender jar. Puree until smooth.

Add remaining ingredients and blend again until smooth.

I'm going to try this recipe the week leading up to giving blood and see if it helps!

I've struggled with anemia my whole life. I know taking supplements work, but I never like how they make me feel (and I suck at taking it every day). This smoothie bowl is a great idea and I cannot wait to try it. Thanks Jen!
