Step 1
Rinse the rice a few times, it is ok if it is not completely clear. Drain thoroughly with a colander.
Step 2
Put water, salt, coconut oil in pot with the lid on (for faster boil and less evaporation) and bring to boil.
Step 3
Add rice, with the lid on, bring back up to a low simmer for 12 minutes.
Step 4
Turn the heat off. Do not remove the lid. Let sit for 10 minutes covered. Fluff and serve.
