Making Straw Rockets with Kids

Step 1

Print the free printable file.

Step 2

Let your kids color their rockets with anything you have on hand.

Step 3

Cut all of the rockets out with scissors. Older kids can do this step themselves.

Step 4

Cut the larger straw to fit on the back of the rocket.

Step 5

Tape one end of these tubes closed.

Step 6

Tape the straw piece to the back of one of the paper rockets.

Step 7

Add the second rocket on top with additional tape.

Step 8

Add in your smaller straw and your rocket is ready to play!
