Step 1
Combine graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, nuts, condensed milk, vanilla and salt in a large bowl and mix until well combined to make a batter. Batter will be THICK.
Step 2
Line a 3-quart 13x9 baking pan (or 2 8x8 square pans) with parchment paper (or aluminum foil greased well) then spread batter into pan(s). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until set.
Step 3
Cool completely in pan, remove then cut into squares. Add powdered sugar to a medium bowl then add squares to sugar and toss to coat. Store in an air-tight container.
Step 4
Notes:
Step 5
This recipe can be halved and cooked in an 8x8 or 9x9 pan.
Step 6
You don't have to line the pan but it makes it easier to remove from the pan.
Step 7
The batter is THICK and STICKY. I blop it into the pan by big spoonfuls placed evenly in the pan then use a rubber spatula to smoosh it down flat.
Step 8
Use traditional or honey graham crackers, not cinnamon or chocolate.
