Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F/204C degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine 12 ounces of broccoli florets, 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon each of onion powder and dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, and 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper. Toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
Step 3
Place seasoned broccoli in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Put in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once after 10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove cooked broccoli to a serving bowl and top with any or all of the optional accompaniments below. Serve immediately or at room temperature.
