Ingredients: 1 cup frozen mixed berries; 1 frozen ripe banana; 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt; 1/4 cup orange juice; 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Mixed Berries and Banana Smoothie

Combine all ingredients together in a blender and puree until smooth. 

Really good recipe! I had to change a few things though, like vanilla yogurt to strawberry, orange juice to water and frozen banana for regular banana but it was still very good

Loved this recipe so much. Toddler, baby, and husband approved. I did not have orange juice and replaced it with cranberry juice. I did not have vanilla yogurt, so I used Greek yogurt and added a few drops of vanilla extract. Had to add some water. Will be adding to our snack rotation. 

Easy and delicious! I swapped the yogurt for dairy free, unsweetened vanilla yogurt and tasted great. An easy way to get in a couple servings of fruit!

Lived it! I added 1 kiwi and a slice of avacado. Very tasty.

I really liked this smoothie.  I did change the recipe a little.  Most of the smoothie recipes on Foodnetwork are more than one serving.  I like to make my smoothies one at a time.  I also watch my calories and love bananas but usually use less banana and what I have in the house so I am not running back and forth to store. I also like to add whey protein to my smoothies.   But I really enjoyed this smoothie!  I found that I did not need the honey.  So with my revisions, this was My VERSION: 1/4c greek yogurt, 1/2c OJ, 1/4c water, 1 tbsp whey protein, 1/2 banana, 1c mixed berries. Total calories: 273 calories

It is so yummy but a little bit thick. I couldn't really taste the orange juice so i added some more orange juice. It made it more thinner. I love this drink and recommend it.

Yum!  I added frozen mango and also some skim milk.  The milk helped to make it a little less thick.  Super yummy.

Good flavor &amp; very very thick. We increased the juice to 1/2 cup and it was still hard to mix (we use a Ninja IQ, had to stop and shake it a fee times) so next time we will try using fresh banana's instead!

Probably one of the best smoothies I've ever made!! Tastes amazing. Has a great fruity taste and yogurt creaminess. Will definitely make this again. 

My usual breakfast. I gave the original recipe only 4 stars because I alter it by using full-fat Honey Greek Yogurt (making it more filling as a breakfast), 1/2 of a banana which doesn't have to be frozen although you can use frozen, and increasing the juice to 1/2 cup. 

I do this every morning before work, but instead of yogurt i use protein powder, definitely a booster

This is a delicious smoothie that can be altered to your tastes. I use low fat yoghurt, sprinkle in some chia seeds, and add 1/4 cup of low fat milk on top of the orange juice so that it is more liquid. I think that freezing this for 10-20 minutes would make a nice frozen yoghurt dessert.

yes this is yummy and filling too... I just made a twist by putting in a few mint leaves as well... it gives you that cool feeling on a hot summer evening.

Made this spontaneously as a late breakfast and to entertain my sister (a kindergartener Lacked a lot of ingredients, and wanted to make more, so doubled the quantities. Used Plain LowFat Yogurt with some maple syrup instead, and replaced the OJ with milk (kept the quantity at 1/4 cup though. Used 3 bananas instead of (doubled 2, and a little more than one cup frozen raspberries. (i doubled the berries originally to 1 cup rasp. 1 cup straw. As expected the smoothie had a strong banana taste with a wonderful tartness at the end. LOVED IT. Will definitely make again!

Reduce the amount of sugar by substituting 2 small clementine oranges instead of OJ.  No need to freeze the bananas if using frozen berries.  Also used light blueberry activia yogurt instead of vanilla.  Very yummy!

This was really good. I used milk instead of oj and fresh fruit instead of frozen. The one thing i might change is not so much banana. Maybe 3/4 instead of a whole next time?

I added i cup of low fat strawberry yogurt instead of vanilla and 1/4 cup of milk instead of orange juice and it was amazing! So this way it was healthy and extravagant! MUST TRY!!!

Made as instructed the first time.  It wasn't as  cold as I would have liked.  Also didn't make very much.  Next time I doubled everything except used 1/2 banana and added one cup of ice.  Excellent!!!!  

This simple but elegant recipe makes eating nutritionally a breeze. The recipe stands on it's own as well as allowing you to finesse to make it your own. Some suggestions including adding a 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla extract to make the flavors pop, using Greek Yogurt which gives it a thicker consistency, adding ice to chill it, use light flavored yogurts, adding some whey protein powder, etc. This recipe is a keeper.

This is a classic smoothie recipe that can be manipulated in many ways.  I used fresh bananas instsad of frozen, substituted plain low fat yogut, and added some equal instead of the honey.  All the flavor with less calories! 

I made this for my kids for an after school snack today and they LOVED IT. I thought it was pretty darn good too- especially on a hot Texas afternoon. I used mixed berries that I got from Costco, and on one recipe I used vanilla yogurt and the second recipe I used strawberry yogurt. Will definitely be making again.

I've spent months trying to find a good smoothie recipe to make at home... and I finally found one! This is super tasty and really easy to make. I even use non-fat plain yogurt and skip the honey, and it tastes just as good. I recommend it 100%!

This smoothie is really good, I added a couple pinches of sugar in addition to the honey and it was definitely sweet enough.  There are seeds, but that's what you get with berries.  But this is not really like a jamba juice, this is really smooth and really thick almost like a frozen yogurt.  One tip I learned that u probably already know - don't freeze the bananas with the peel on!

I used strawberries only instead of mixed berries and it was great.  I also used 1/2 cup oj to make it more thin, recipe as is was a little too think to drink.  My husband loved it and now wants one everyday before work.

I loved this smoothie, but I recently changed a few things.  1c blueberry's, blackberry's and three strawberry's. 1/2c organic french vanilla yogurt. 1/4c pomegranate juice (I used POM) 1 tablespoon benefiber.  hope you like.

It's a great recipe; however I took out the banana, used more berries and used "banilla" yogurt.  I would also like to know the caloric information

Smoothie is excellent, but the seeds from the berries are a bit annoying.

I used raspberries and blueberries (rich in anti-oxidants) and blueberry juice. It tasted very good and was a light lunch for me!

This recipe saved my mornings! I am always in such a rush and never have time to make breakfast. This recipe is not only fast and easy to make, but it actually fills me up just like a normal breakfast would. Thank you so much for this recipe. Keep 'em comin!!

This tasted so refreshing and healthy. It was tart and sweet at the same time and there are so many variations. We had it as breakfast but it could also serve as a light lunch or even a dessert.

This is a great recipe! I wouldn't recommend adding raspberries or blackberries if you dislike seeds in your smoothie. I've never tried the honey in this recipe, but plan to next time I make it!

This smoothie is sooooooooooo good, the only thing I would change is add more juice if you want it to be thinner.  Other than that, best smoothie ever.

Yummy and filling.  Very smooth with the yogurt.  I just used strawberries and loved it.
