Step 1
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with BBQ Rub and add your thermometer into the thickest part of one of the chicken breasts.
Step 2
Add 1⁄2 a cup of pellets to the hopper.
Step 3
Set NWG to Grill setting High for 15 minutes and press the Woodfire button.
Step 4
Hit the start button and let NWG go through the ignition and pre-heat process.
Step 5
Add the chicken breasts to the NWG and shut the lid.
Step 6
Cook the chicken breasts for 5 minutes and then flip them over.
Step 7
Continue to cook the chicken breasts until they hit 145F (63C) internal temperature.
Step 8
Open the lid, flip the chicken breasts back over, and baste the chicken breasts with BBQ sauce.
Step 9
Shut the lid and continue to cook until they hit 160F (71C) internal temperature.
Step 10
Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. The carry over heat will take them to 165F (74C) internal temperature.
Step 11
Slice the chicken breasts up and enjoy!
