Combine beef mince, egg, panko, cloves, ginger and salt in a bowl. Take ½ tbsp of mixture and roll into balls.

Arrange on an oven tray and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

Place plum sauce, sweet chilli sauce and hoisin sauce in a large frying pan and stir to combine. Place over a medium heat and cook until sauce comes to the boil. Add the cooked meatballs and toss to coat.
Step 5
Serve as they are for an appetizer or on a bed of rice with steamed greens on the side for a main course.
