Round Double Crochet Coaster and Basket

Step 1

Foundation - MR, or ch4, sl st in 1st to form a ring.

Step 2

Round 1 - Ch3 (does not counts as st) 12dc into ring, pull yarn tail tight to close circle, sl st in 1st dc to join. [12 dc]

Step 3

Round 2 - Ch3 (does not count as a st), (2 dc) in next st, then *(2 dc) in the next st, rpt from * to the end, sl st into top of 1st dc to join. [24 dc]

Step 4

Round 3 - Ch3 (does not count as a st), *(2dc) in next st, 1dc in next, rpt from * to the end, sl st into top of 1st dc to join. [36 dc]

Step 5

Round 4 - Ch1, *sl st in next st, ch1, sl st in next st, ch 1 rpt from * to end, sl st into 1st sc. Cut yarn, fasten off, and weave in the ends.

Step 6
