Step 1
Cook the pasta: Cook the pasta in a large pot with salted boiling water according to the instructions on the package. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Make the Alfredo sauce: Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until aromatic. Stir in the cream and bring to a gentle boil.
