Step 1
Pick off dirt from soybean seeds dust it, and rinse the soybeans well to remove all forms of dust. Once rinsed, Pour into a big clean bowl and soak overnight (water level should be way above the beans.
Step 2
Wash off the bean chaff and drain to remove as much water as possible
Step 3
Sun dry till soybeans moisture is dried up
Step 4
Place a fry pan or dry pot (or popcorn maker) over medium heat and allow heat up, pour in the silly beans and stir to brown up a little but not to burn
Step 5
Remove the beans from the popcorn maker or frying pan immediately once they appear browned. Place the roasted soy beans into the blender, coffee grinder or special grinder(or best still take to your local mill for grinding, don't forget to add the prawns).
Step 6
A quick transfer from heat to grinder ensures the beans will grind to a smooth powder. If the beans cool before grinding, they harden, making grinding difficult. The beans must be warm(if using your home grinder)
Step 7
Grind to get a smooth soy milk powder(with the dried prawns).
Step 8
Store in an airtight container and use up within 3-4months 👌👍
