Export 10 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking loaf pan with parchment paper and spray.
Step 2
Using a stand mixer fitted with the flat beater or paddle attachment, combine the butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, beating until smooth. Add in the mashed bananas, applesauce, honey, and both eggs, again beating until smooth. Add in the flour and beat again just until all combined.
Step 3
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a butter knife or spoon. Arrange the sliced banana on top, gently pressing into the batter just slightly. Let it rest at room temperature for 3 to 5 minutes. Bake the banana bread for 1 hour, or until a tester inserted comes out clean.
Step 4
Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Remove it from the pan, and cool it completely on a rack. Slice and enjoy!
