The Original "Easiest Pineapple Cake"

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Put all the cake ingredients into a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Mix all of the cake ingredients together.

Step 4

Pour into a greased 9X13 inch pan.

Step 5

Bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes (until the top is golden brown).

Step 6

For the frosting: Beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla together until creamy.

Step 7

Gradually mix in powdered sugar.

Step 8

Blend until frosting is mixed well.

Step 9

Frost cake with cream cheese frosting while still warm.

Step 10

Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
