View Step-by-step Cooking Method Step 1 Add all ingredients of Group 1 into mixing bowl, heat until brown sugar is melted and combined 80 o C 4m 2 Step 2 Pour out Group 1 ingredients into a jug.Rinse mixing bowl making sure there's no oily residue left Step 3 Add 4 eggs into mixing bowl and beat 0 o C 2m 3.5 Step 4 Add 130g all purpose flour, mix until combined 0 o C 30s 3.5 Step 5 Continue to mix while slowly pouring all melted ingredients of group 1 into the mixing bowl 0 o C 2m 30s 3.5 Step 6 Allow mixture to sit for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 190degrees celcius Step 7 Add 10ml baking soda and mix 0 o C 10s 3.5 Step 8 Pour mixture into a cake tin lined with baking paper Step 9 Bake for 20 minutes at 190 degrees celcius Step 10 Reduce the heat to 160 degrees celcius and bake for another 20 minutes until the top is browned. Skewer should come out clean when inserted and the top of the cake should be soft and springy when lightly pressed. Step 11 Allow to cool slightly before removing baking paper.
