Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients (or the first 5 if you are using the cayenne pepper).
Step 3
Season the chicken quarters on one side with about half the spice mixture.
Step 4
Drizzle about half of the olive oil and rub it in to evenly distribute the oil and spices.
Step 5
Flip the quarters over and cover with the rest of the seasoning and the olive oil.
Step 6
Carefully place the chicken skin side up on the preheated air fryer tray. (You may need to cook the quarters in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.)
Step 7
Cook for about 13 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 12 minutes or until the chicken is done. (Chicken needs to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.)
Step 8
Garnish with chopped parsley (if desired) and serve.
