Peel and chop apples. Sauté the apples in butter and maple syrup for five minutes. While the apples cool, chop each of the uncooked cinnamon rolls into small pieces. Combine the cooked apples and cinnamon rolls in a bowl. Add one tablespoon of flour and toss together. The flour should reduce the moisture and help the apples and dough stick together. Add more flour until this happens. Once the mixture comes together, shape into a loaf. Cut the loaf into slices, about an inch thick. You might need to pat them into ovals and push in some of the apple chunks to create fritters.In a 350 degree air fryer, cook for 15-17 minutes or until browned.

Remove the label from a can of sweetened condensed milk. Add the can to a large pot and fill with water. Make sure the can is completely covered with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for three hours. Be sure to keep an eye on the water level. The can needs to stay covered in water, so you will likely need to add water to the pot every 30 minutes or so. After three hours of simmering, remove the can and let it cool for at least 3-4 hours. When you open the can, it should reveal a rich, thick caramel sauce. Use this sauce to drizzle over the fritters. If the caramel sauce is a little too time-consuming for you, canned cinnamon rolls usually come with pre-made icing, so you can always use that.
