Apple Cream Cake

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3

Prepare the cake batter according to the package directions.

Step 4

In a bowl, add the apples, the walnuts, the sugar, and the cinnamon and mix to combine.

Step 5

Spoon the apple mixture over the batter.

Step 6

Pour the heavy cream over the top of the batter. Do not stir.

Step 7

Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour-1 hour 10 minutes.

Step 8

Serve topped with the whipped cream.
