Step 1
Preheat oven to 170C. Line two oven trays with baking paper.
Step 2
Place butter, brown sugar and golden syrup in a saucepan and stir over gentle heat until melted and smooth.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats and bicarb soda. Add butter mixture and mix to combine.
Step 4
Place dessert spoon size balls of mixture onto prepared baking paper, leaving plenty of space for spreading. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Step 5
Allow to cool on the tray, then remove to a cooling rack and drizzle with extra golden syrup.
