Step 1

Grab your supplies for as many napkin rings as you want to make.

Step 2

Burn the initials into the wood with your wood-burning tool. Be sure to follow all instructions and safety precautions with the tool. It is just like writing with a hot pen.

Step 3

Rub edges of the wood shape with brown ink to distress them. This is optional but I like the addition distressing for a more rustic look.

Step 4

Cut a length of burlap ribbon and tie it around your napkin.

Step 5

Tie on your wood shape with a bit of baker's twine and a button.
