DIY Garden Lighthouse

Step 1

Remove the metal handle and brackets on the sides of both of the buckets with pliers.

Step 2

Apply glue to the top of the mason jar lid. Then, place the bottom of the smaller metal pail onto the glue. Then, apply adhesive around the inside rim of the smaller bucket and place the larger bucket inside.

Step 3

Weigh down to hold in place while your glue dries. I allowed mine to dry overnight.

Step 4

Turn over your garden lighthouse and begin to paint. NOTE: You should allow the paint to dry before painting stripes that touch.

Step 5

Once the paint has dried, add the moon lights to the inside of the mason jar and screw on the top of your garden lighthouse.
