Step 1
Keep the butter stick in a baking dish (around 9x13 inches). Put the dish in the oven while it's getting pre-heated until the butter gets melted. Take out the dish. If your dish is microwave-proof, you can also microwave it for a few seconds.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon powder. Add milk and mix until you get a smooth batter.
Step 3
Pour the batter over melted butter.
Step 4
Gently pour canned peaches along with the syrup on top of the batter. Make sure that the peaches are evenly spread over the batter. Don't mix.
Step 5
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (350°F) for around 45-50 minutes.
Step 6
Enjoy with a dollop of ice cream or whipped cream.
