Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna

Step 1

Turn on your Instant Pot and select the 'Saute' function on high

Step 2

Add olive oil, onion and sausage

Step 3

Saute until browned

Step 4

Add garlic

Step 5

Saute for an additional 1-2 minutes

Step 6

Add pasta sauce, black pepper, basil, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, beef broth, water and pasta shells

Step 7

Note: When you add the pasta shells, be sure to add them in a criss-cross motion

Step 8

Doing so will help the pasta shells from sticking together

Step 9

Also, as you are adding the shells, try to press as much of the shells under the water as possible

Step 10

Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing

Step 11

Select the 'Pressure Cook' function and cook on high for 4 minutes

Step 12

Once the timer beeps, quick release all pressure then carefully remove the lid

Step 13

Stir contents to break up the pasta and combine all ingredients well

Step 14

Add Parmesan cheese and stir again until contents are well combined

Step 15

Serve, top with mozzarella cheese and enjoy!
