Instant Pot Pizza Pasta, Duo Crisp, Normal Pot, or Ninja Foodie

Step 1

Set the Instant Pot to saute and saute Italian sausage, onion, and garlic until the sausage is browned.

Step 2

Add the spices and stir well.

Step 3

Add half of the pepperoni, the chicken stock, and red wine and stir well.

Step 4

Add the tomatoes and tomatoe puree. Stir lightly.

Step 5

Pour the pasta on top of the liquid and gently press down until the pasta is covered with liquid. Do not stir. The idea is to keep most of the pasta off of the bottom of the pot.

Step 6

Pressure cook on high pressure for 1/2 the time stated on the box minus one minute, or 6 minutes if you are missing the box for the time setting.

Step 7

Quick release the pressure and remove the lid.

Step 8

Stir in 1/3 of the cheese and place the rest on top of the pasta mix.

Step 9

Layer the remaining pepperoni on top of the cheese.

Step 10

Place the air fryer lid on the Pot and air fry at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Step 11

Remove the air fryer lid and serve!
