Step 1
Peel and grate the apples. Cut them into thin circles or slices using a grater. Whichever way is easier for you.
Step 2
Put the apples in a bowl, pour the juice of half a lemon over them, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and 1-2 tbsp. brown sugar. Mix well.
Step 3
Using a mixer, beat the eggs with 4 tbsp. brown sugar until foamy. Gradually and slowly pour the milk and the melted and slightly cooled butter.
Step 4
Add the flour in portions.
Step 5
Pour the mixture over the apples and homogenize everything well.
Step 6
Line a form with a detachable ring with baking paper. Pour the apples and the liquid into it. If you wish, you can arrange them in rows.
Step 7
Shake the form slightly. Bake the apple pie at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven until nicely browned or about 30-35 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the finished juicy apple cake from the oven, release the form from the ring and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Step 9
Sprinkle the apple cake with powdered sugar.
