Step 1
Melt the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the spinach in batches, moving it around with a spatula and allowing it to wilt before adding the next batch.
Step 2
Add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Bring to a simmer and then reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally for 45 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and place under the broiler until the cheese has melted, about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Set the instant pot to saute. Melt the butter and then add the garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, and add the spinach if you are using fresh. Cook until the spinach wilts.
Step 5
Add the heavy cream, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Set your Instant Pot to Manual > High. Cook for 5 minutes, and then do a quick release.
Step 6
Add the parmesan cheese and place the lid back on the instant pot until the cheese melts.
