Ingredients: 8 oz mozzarella balls; 1/4 cup olive oil (extra virgin); 1/4 tsp kosher salt (coarse); 1/4 tsp black pepper (freshly ground); 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes ((or more if you prefer spicier)); 12 basil leaves (julienned); 1/2 tsp garlic (crushed)

These Marinated Mozzarella Balls take cheese to the next level of flavor!  You can have these made and ready in as little as 5 minutes, for a quick and easy appetizer, or addition to a charcuterie or cheese board.

Marinated Mozzarella

oz mozzarella balls

olive oil (extra virgin)

tsp kosher salt (coarse)

tsp black pepper (freshly ground)

tsp red pepper flakes ((or more if you prefer spicier))

basil leaves (julienned)

garlic

Combine all ingredients together. Mix to coat the cheese in all of the toppings.

Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15 min - 24 hours.

I am new to your site and have been enjoying looking at all of your seemingly easy recipes. I was wondering where did you buy the tube of garlic? I sometimes get tired of peeling garlic.
