Export 12 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
firstly, in a blender take 2 cups of soaked peas.
Step 2
blend to a coarse paste without adding any water.
Step 3
transfer the coarse peas paste to cooker along with 3 cup water.
Step 4
pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
Step 5
now in a large kadai heat 1 tbsp ghee and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp jeera, pinch hing and few curry leaves.
Step 6
now add 1 onion and saute well followed by 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 2 green chilli.
Step 7
also, add 1 tomato and saute till the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
Step 8
further, add ½ tsp garam masala and ¾ tsp salt.
Step 9
saute till the spices get cooked well.
Step 10
add in cooked peas and mix well.
Step 11
boil on medium flame for 2 minutes or until flavours are absorbed.
Step 12
now add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and mix well.
Step 13
finally, serve matar ki dal recipe with hot steamed rice.
