Name: Moscow Mule

Ingredients: 2 ounces vodka; 1 tablespoon (½ ounce) freshly-squeezed lime juice; 4 ounces ginger beer; ice

Learn how to make a Moscow Mule with this classic 3-ingredient recipe.  I like to garnish mine with a leftover lime wedge and maybe a sprig of mint, if I happen to have it on hand.  See notes above for ideas on Moscow Mule variations, if you would like to mix things up.

Moscow Mule

vodka

1 tablespoon (½ ounce) freshly-squeezed lime juice

ginger beer

Fill a copper mug or a tall cocktail glass with ice.

Add vodka and lime juice.  Then fill the glass to the top with ginger beer.

Give the drink a quick stir, top with garnish(es) if desired, then serve cold.

I need to invest in some copper mugs.

Moscow Mule --
Ingredients: 4 oz Ginger beer, 1 1/2 oz Vodka, 1/6 oz Lime juice

Also known as a Moscow Buck.

Using, instead, Bourbon for Vodka produces a Kentucky Mule, aka Horsefeathers. (May take mint.) 
But this is already beginning to be called a Moscow Mitch. I propose to call it a Turtle Buck. Perhaps as a double drink with shots of both Bourbon and Vodka.

Turtle Buck  (aka Kentucky Jackass) --
Черепаха удар (кентукки осел)
Cherepakha udar (kentukki osel)

Muddle 2 to 3 sprigs mint w/ juice of 1/2 a lime. (May include hulk.)
1-1/2 oz Bourbon (rot-gut)
1-1/2 oz Vodka (cheap, low-life)
Shake well w/ ice and strain into copper mug.
Top w/ Ginger Beer.
Garnish: Lime slice and mint sprig.
