Southern Buttermilk Pie

Step 1

FIRST STEP:Preheat the oven to 350*

Step 3

Using a hand mixer, cream the butter and sugar together

Step 5

SECOND STEP:Add in the eggs and mix well

Step 7

Add in the flour, buttermilk, vanilla and salt and mix thoroughly

Step 9

THIRD STEP:Pour into the prepared pie crust and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until set. The middle may still jiggle a little bit, but it cannot be liquidy.

Step 11

Allow to cool completely before serving.
